Canada continues to steamroll opponents at the August version of the 2022 World Juniors as they defeated Czechia 5-1 last night, led by captain Mason McTavish, who had another 2 goals, giving him 6 in the tournament already.

Not only has Canada been steamrolling opponents on the scoreboard, but with 4 minutes gone in the third last night, Brennan Othmann absolutely steamrolled Czechia forward and Blue Jackets prospect David Jiricek.

There was no penalty called on Othmann as the hit wasn't late. It also helps that Jiricek got up right away as well. If you watch other angles of the hit, the only real case for a penalty would have been maybe charging, but even then it is a questionable call because he only takes two strides before throwing the hit.

Canada will look to continue its dominance on Monday as they wrap up the round robin against Finland in what will be their toughest game of the tournament so far.
