What do the Habs and the Titanic have in common? They're both at the bottom of the Atlantic. Habs centre Nick Suzuki had some spare time this spring as his lowly Habs weren't anywhere near a playoff spot. What better way to spend your free time than watching the Leafs?

The Leafs? Uhhh. it was the first time I was cheering for Tampa so It was weird cheering for the team that beat you last year but it turned out pretty good.

-Nick Suzuki on wanting the Leafs to lose to Tampa in round one this year

The fact Suzuki is even talking about the Leafs after the abysmal season the Habs just had is funny. What makes it hilarious is this tweet from 2013, before Suzuki was drafted. Evidently the Habs top centre was a Leafs fan growing up!

Now, if I played for one of the richest teams in the league and had just finished 32nd in the NHL after spending over $103 million on payroll, I'd probably avoid talking smack about the team that just put up a 115-point season. Sure, the Leafs bowed out in the first round, but that's not half as embarrassing as failing to finish ahead of the Arizona Coyotes. Unfortunately, until the Leafs win a playoff round, bottom feeders like Nick Suzuki and the Habs will have that to use against them.
