For the second time in as many games, top Leafs prospect Matthew Knies has found the back of the net for the University of Minnesota's Golden Gophers in this, his sophomore season in the NCAA.

While Matthew Knies scoring is not exactly breaking news, the method in which he is scoring his goals this season is certainly noteworthy. This is the 2nd time Knies has scored this season with a deflection, which is a new tool in his already exciting toolbox.

The interesting thing about Knies scoring in back-to-back games with a deflection is that the methods used were entirely different. Sunday's goal was a deflection from a shot, whereas this goal from Saturday was a pass-deflection.

Knies is already a good skater, an excellent passer, a solid finisher and a physical presence. Now we can add underrated hand-eye coordination to his intriguing skill set. It's hard not to get hyped up about the potential here.
