The Leafs are mere hours from taking the ice. Their great opportunity? One game. One game against the 2 time defending Stanley Cup Champs. One game against the team considered to be the best in the world. For a historically underperforming team trying to flip the script, its the biggest and best opportunity they'll have to do so.

Great moments are born from great opportunity. That's what you have here tonight boys, thats what you've earned here tonight. One game - Herb Brooks

Sheldon Keefe may not be Herb Brooks, but I'm sure his pre-game speech will resemble the one Kurt Russel delivered while portraying the legendary Herb Brooks in the best hockey movie ever made, Miracle.

Ahead of tonights monumental game 7, Keefe was asked about the demeanor of his team. A team that has seen more than its fair share of Game 7 action, but never the other side.

The mood's great. I mean, I don't sense any nerves. I just sense confidence & excitement. - Sheldon Keefe

Asked if he himself was dealing with any nerves:

Don't have any. This is as confident as I've been coaching this team - Sheldon Keefe

Clearly Keefe and the Leafs are prepared for this game. At no point in the previous 6 games have the Leafs looked like they were caving under the pressure. So far, we've seen 2 excellent hockey teams going toe to toe. The hockey has been incredible so far. All we can do now is hope that the Leafs can continue to play they way they have in this series and keep their mistakes to a minimum. If they can do that, we'll finally see what this Leafs team looks like in the second round of the playoffs.
