Matthew Knies was called for hooking David Pastrnak and then tripped on a breakaway with no call.

In the second period, Bruins forward David Pastrnak was cutting across the Leafs' blueline when Knies attempted to lift his stick with one hand. The front official in the Leafs' zone signalled that it was stick on stick contact, however the official in the neutral zone called Knies for hooking.

The Leafs were able to kill off the penalty and moments After, Joel Edmundson sprung Knies on a partial breakaway where he was blatantly tripped by Kevin Shattenkirk and collided with Jeremy Swayman. Of course, there was no call on the play.

Needless to say Leaf fans were not happy with either call.

With how tight the game is, one of these calls or non-calls is going to decide the game. Regardless, the officials need to decide if they're calling everything or nothing, because this is ridiculous.
